Ending recidivism
Connecting Adults Re-Entering
Connection is Protection – Empowering Second Chances
Stable housing, vocational training, mentorship, and community support for adults re-entering society. Breaking the cycle of recidivism, one connection at a time.
Our Mission
C.A.R.E. is a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of recidivism by providing stable housing, workforce training, and compassionate mentorship to formerly incarcerated adults.
We believe connection is protection—and everyone deserves the chance to rebuild.
Housing
Safe, stable tiny homes that restore dignity and offer a fresh start.
Vocational Training
Hands-on programs in landscaping and painting that build real-world, marketable skills.
Mentorship
Peer support, goal-setting, and emotional guidance from people who understand the journey.
Why This Work Matters
Each year, thousands of Oregonians re-enter society.
But without housing, employment, and community support, nearly half face reincarceration.
C.A.R.E. provides the structure, education, and connection needed to break this cycle—creating long-term stability, stronger families, and safer communities.
